On 21st and 22nd May 2026, a Youth Business Exhibition for beneficiaries of the Skills, Employment and Enterprise Transformation (SET) Project was conducted at CCM Tanganyika Grounds located in Ifakara Town Council.
The exhibition brought together youth beneficiaries from different district councils in Morogoro, Iringa, and Mbeya regions to showcase their businesses, products, and entrepreneurial skills acquired through the SET Project. MVIWAMORO participated in the exhibition as one of the implementing partner organizations of the SET Project in collaboration with Swisscontact, the lead organization coordinating the implementation of the project through various partner institutions. The SET Project is funded by the Embassy of Switzerland in Tanzania. As part of the exhibition participation, MVIWAMORO facilitated the involvement of youth beneficiaries from districts including Mvomero, Kilosa, Morogoro Rural, Ifakara, and Mikumi. The exhibition aimed to provide market exposure for youth entrepreneurs, promote entrepreneurship and self-employment, encourage innovation and value addition, and create networking opportunities among youth beneficiaries and stakeholders. During the exhibition, Youth participants displayed a variety of products and services including spices, processed food products, snacks, bakery products, agricultural products, indigenous seeds, honey, beverages, and food vending services.
